Wow! April already? March flew by for us, and April looks like it’s heading the same way! We’ve been in Scotland this weekend having a wonderful time on Loch Lomond and I can’t wait to share our adventures with you once we get back.
This month’s photos were taken on my shoot for The Bunting Tree’s incredible SS18 collection. Emma has spent months creating these beautiful prints, and I was over the moon to be asked to photograph the new range again. The clothes are available to pre-order now (pop on over the The Bunting Tree’s website).
For the shoot, we spent the day in the woods playing hide and seek, overly competitive running races and generally enjoying being outside without it raining (although the wind was a little chilly!). I love North Cliffe woods and can’t wait to go back once the bluebells come out, like we did last year.
The Easter Holidays have been wonderful. I’ve loved having both children home with me, and (for the most part) they’ve loved having each other around.
We were supposed to be visiting family in Sussex for the second week of our Easter Holidays, but circumstances changed, so we ended up having a week in Yorkshire instead. This has probably been for the best, as I’ve been so tired following my bout of tonsillitis.
We had a quiet Easter weekend, with a couple of dog walks and a visit to our favourite brunch place in Hull – Thieving Harry’s. Then we headed over to the West/North for a couple of days; went swimming with the children and visited the National Trust’s gorgeous Brimham Rocks.
The holidays finished with a trip to Wilsthorpe beach and then a quiet day at home on Monday, where I spent most of the day feeling a bit sad that our two week break from the school run and ‘the machine’ was over.
Busby and H-Bear are such good friends at the moment, and I love watching their relationship grow. They go into each others rooms in the morning, and we hear them playing together with various tea sets or Busby’s Sylvanian Families.
The rest of our April is pretty quiet, which is probably a good thing… and I’m already counting down the days until the next school holidays.
