Toys // Family Fun with the Incredibles 2

Have you seen the Incredibles 2 yet? I’ve seen it twice now – I took Busby a couple of weeks ago and then Nick that weekend, because he was so envious that we’d seen it and he hadn’t! It’s, well, it’s incredible (sorry, I had to!) and I have been recommending it to everyone since seeing it.

Continuing straight on from the last film (released 14 years ago! I can’t believe it’s been such a long time), the story follows the Parr Family, who are a family of ‘supers’. Incredibles 2 is funny, political and so jam-packed with action that you often forget you’re watching an animation. Busby loved it (although she said she was a little scared at times) and Nick loved it (I don’t think he was scared!).

The lovely folk at the Disney Store sent us some Incredibles 2 goodies to keep us entertained over the Summer Holidays. They have been an absolutely godsend during these long, hot days – and the children have played wonderfully together with them.

The Jack-Jack vs Racoon scene is probably my favourite in the whole film (to be honest, any scene with Jack-Jack was a highlight!) and these dolls play-fight with sounds.

We were sent so many amazing toys! Busby has loved using her imagination to continue the Incredibles tale…

Whereas H-Bear has been off in his own world; pretending to be Dash on the garden slide and generally having a great time!

He’s also enjoyed driving Jack-Jack around in his tractor:

To be honest, Jack-Jack has been a big hit with us all!

Even Nick was sent this awesome t-shirt so he could join in too! He was so chuffed with it that he’s worn it on a stag do this weekend.

And Bun wasn’t left out either. How adorable is this little baby vest? I can’t wait to put her in it come December. We’ll be matching the Parr family; outnumbered by children!

All of the above toys and clothes are available to buy on the Disney Store website now.

Who is your favourite Incredibles character?

My oldest daughter is 26 and she has been waiting for this film to come out so she can take her 8 year old sister to see it. It does look good and the older kids removed it well. There’s something special about a cinema treat for kids, isnt there.

Awww what a nice selection you were sent, so thoughtful of the them. I don’t think I could cope sitting in the cinema at the moment so I’ll wait until it’s on Sky Cinema. The merchandise looks great, I love the little figures; they look really well painted compared to lots of that sort of thing. And how cute is the vest for Bun?
