We’ve been in Yorkshire for a whole week now, and it has flown by! I don’t think the impending arrival of Christmas is helping matters… and the fact that I haven’t really got much sorted for the festive season… nor for Busby’s 2nd birthday. Why does time always speed up when you have lots to prepare?? These things have a funny way of sorting themselves out though – so I’m sure I’ll be feeling better about it all soon! Fingers crossed!
Nevertheless, following the craziness of the move we had a semi-relaxing week, which you can read about here.
This weekend has been truly lovely, now that we are starting to feel settled and the sun (finally) decided to make an appearance.

We’re staying with Nick’s parents until we find our house, and Busby has already settled in.
One of her favourite activities is to feed the garden birds, so we’ve been dutifully taking our breakfast scraps out to the bird table every morning (come rain or shine) to make sure the birds are also well fed this winter. [Read more…]
