Last Saturday, we were very kindly invited along to Strada in York to sample their brand new children’s menu… and for us grown-ups to have a munch too! Nick and I have a long history with Strada, as it’s where we used to secretly dine together in Brighton when we weren’t officially a couple, and it was the scene of our first date (plus numerous consequent dates!) so we were very keen to visit as we haven’t eaten at Strada since the children have appeared.
The sun was shining on a rather frosty West Yorkshire on Sunday morning, so we decided to head to our local National Trust property, Nostell Priory, for a wander about, and to burn off some of the festive fare we’ve consumed over the past few weeks! Busby had lots of fun gallivanting about; exploring the icy grass, challenging us to races, and finding sticks to weald as wands. We even found an entrance to a fairy house in a tree, which she was completely awed by.
