As you know from my previous posts, I have been banished from our house-move this weekend and have been staying with my Mutti. Despite having another awful cold I have had itchy feet (I can’t sit still for long!), so yesterday we pottered into Lindfield…in the pouring rain…to the King Edward Hall, to visit the Bonfire Society Christmas “Craft Fair”. I found some lovely items for Christmas in our new house, and Mutti and I left feeling inspired to get making!
I’ve posted some photos of my findings below; my favourite item is the tiny, knitted teddy that Mutti bought for Grape. It’s just so cute and the store holder was lovely – she was so passionate about knitting!

Everything has been moved now* so I’ll be heading over to the new place later today to “supervise”. I feel very nervous about finally getting in there; somehow moving out of Brighton and into a proper house makes the next chapter of our lives seem real! It’s only 17 days until her EDD, and she’s been very active the last couple of days. It’s as if she’s preparing herself for the journey! (Cue “Rocky-style” montage of Baby doing press-ups and sit-ups in my tummy!)
I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend
Hannah
