The Week That Was: Captured #77

Hullo! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a lovely week?

The rules for #TWTWC are simple; link up one post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!

Last week
I loved reading about Becky’s (Little O and Me) fun weekend last week – she went clubbing, which is something I haven’t done in a very long time!
Ali (Mum in a Nutshell) had me giggling about her forgetfulness to “de-fuzz” before baby swimming – it’s something I would definitely do!
Caroline’s (Tea is the Answer) post had me looking forward to the next two trimesters of pregnancy, and what a lovely bump she has! She’s almost ready to pop now, and the hospital bag is packed!

Our week
This week has flown by, as we’ve been very busy!

Nick and I went Christmas shopping on Sunday and had a lovely lunch out, just the two of us.

I can’t really remember what happened on Monday…(I blame pregnancy brain!)

Busby spent the morning painting on Tuesday, at her request, and made some more lovely Christmas cards.

We spent Wednesday morning getting the house ready for Mutti’s arrival and I baked some fresh mince pies, as we’d run out. Then Mutti arrived late afternoon; Busby was very happy to see her.

Busby, Mutti and I had a busy day on Thursday; we went for lunch at Blacker Hall Farm, and then headed into Wakefield to do some Christmas shopping.

Friday was also busy! We headed over to Yorkshire Sculpture Park in the morning, and had a bracing walk around the grounds. This was followed by a very welcome, warm lunch in the café. When we got back, I started making Busby’s birthday cake and sausage dog biscuits for the next day.

Busby turned two on Saturday, so the day was spent watching her have fun! We ate some delicious food and laughed a lot.

1. I love these cravings! (Sunday) // 2. I turned 13 weeks (Monday) // 3. Relaxing (Tuesday) // 4. Christmas shopping (Thursday) // 5. A Winter walk (Friday) // 6. Enjoying the YSP book shop (Friday) // 7. Posing on the Henry Moore (Friday) // 8. Mopping on her birthday… (Saturday) // 9. Decorated biscuits (Saturday)

I’m going to be taking a little break next week to enjoy Christmas and family time, so there won’t be a #TWTWC post and linky. I’ll be back on Sunday 4th January 2015, however, and can’t wait to hear what you’ve been up to over the festive period!

Late but glad to link up:) Thanks so much for the mention and you are so clever - the design of your blog is just lovely. Happy Birthday B, I’m wondering what it will be like to have a little one with a birthday around this time of year - but I guess I’ll find out soon enough!
