Hullo! Welcome back to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a wonderful couple of weeks?
The rules for #TWTWC are simple; link up one post about your week! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!
Our week
I haven’t really stopped for the last three weeks! We’ve all been very busy here – as I’m sure you all have been too! It’s been so lovely to take a break from blogging and spend some time with family.
Looking back at this week’s photos it’s hard to believe they’re from the same week – we’ve gone from snow, to very mild weather, to rain!
It was still snowy on Sunday so the three of us when for a walk around Ackworth – and discovered the Bakers! We had a lovely play in the garden once Busby had woken up from her nap. I’d been feeling poorly on Saturday, so it was wonderful to spend some time with Busby and Nick!
Nick was back to work on Monday, so Busby and I went for another walk in the afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and countryside. I also reached 15 weeks of pregnancy – hurrah!
We all headed to IKEA on Tuesday, as I needed to buy a frame (exciting times). Busby and I had a lovely lunch – she couldn’t get enough of my meatballs, so we ended up swapping lunches (I was more than happy to eat her macaroni cheese). I found the Coconut and Watermelon White Tea that I’ve been desperately craving for the last few weeks, but have been unable to find…
Wednesday was New Years Eve! Nick came home from work early, and we all ate a rather delicious stew (which will be on the blog next week) before collapsing on the sofa and watching The Hobbit until midnight.
Thursday was New Years Day, and after a lie in courtesy of Busby, we had a slow get up and went out for a wander around the surrounding countryside. I introduced Busby to Mary Poppins in the afternoon.
Nick was back at work on Friday, so I headed into Wakefield with Busby and Nick’s parents to buy some essentials, before heading to a local pub for lunch.
We had a rather exciting day on Saturday, as Nick and I started our house hunt! We saw three houses – one with serious potential in the village we ideally want to live in. Eek!
What have you been up to this week?
Hannah
