Hallo! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a lovely week?
The rules for #TWTWC are simple; link up one post about your week (it doesn’t have to be the whole week – it can just be one day, or your weekend)! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!
Last week
I loved Louise’s (23 Week Socks) post last week about anxiety, depression and understanding. It completely resonated with me and it made me feel so fortunate to also have some very understanding people in my life.
I really enjoyed Christina’s (LadyBug Home & Design) post last week – mostly due to the sibling love featured! It makes me really excited for the future with our two children and seeing their relationship flourish.
Ali’s (Mum in a Nutshell) post was so cute last week! I loved her photos – especially her Little One in the super cute dinosaur outfit!!
Our week
We were still in Sussex at the beginning of the week. Hurrah!
We visited my grandparents for lunch on Sunday and ended up staying all afternoon. It was lovely to see them and have a catch up, and Busby discovered a whole bag of dinosaur toys which kept her entertained for the entire time!
Monday was a quieter day than we had planned – instead of heading over to Lewes, we decided to stay in Lindfield and walked to the park, bought yummy sandwiches and had a picnic. Nick and I went out for dinner in the evening. I also turned 27 weeks pregnant.
Nick was in London on Tuesday at a conference, so Busby and I spent the day with Mutti. We visited Miss Mabel’s in Burgess Hill and I found some vintage bargains! We had a lovely lunch there too. The afternoon was spent relaxing and packing for our return to Yorkshire on Wednesday.
We all travelled on the train back on Yorkshire on Wednesday. Nick was feeling very poorly.
Nick was off sick on Thursday, and we spent most of the day snoozing! I visited the midwife for a check-up; Nick joined too and listened Peppercorn’s heartbeat.
Nick was still poorly on Friday so we spent the day relaxing around the house. I caught up with some work in the morning as now have a pile of outstanding things to do, and we’re back in Sussex for Easter so need to start making my way through them!
We were planning an Ikea trip on Saturday to scope out things for our new house, but alas Nick wasn’t feeling too bright and Busby was awake at 5am… We ended up heading into Wakefield in the afternoon to purchase Easter eggs, and I found some super cute bargains in TKMaxx.
What have you been up to this week?
Hannah
Huge apologies – my badge is still being pesky and I haven’t had a chance to sort it out yet – it is under construction for now, as the template keeps reformatting the quotation marks in the code from straight to curly (geeky snore) Please let me know on Twitter if you’d like me to email the badge through to you…!
Sounds like a busy week! Poor Nick, hope he is feeling better soon, but at least you all had a chance to chill towards the end of the week.. Have a lovely weekend xx

Your bump is looking cuter with every week, Hannah!! :o)
I love the sound of the vintage shop - it’s the kinda place I could spend ages just browsing at everything.

Time is flying, I cannot believe you are in the 3rd tri already. That cake looks SO good, I am supposed to be watching my sugar/carb intake but now I want cake! 🙂
Really love your stripe top/ tunic and the mug with a Heart on the front of it. Hope Nick is feeling better by now, I find when they’re ill blokes are more hard work than kids. xx #TWTWC

I hope Nick is feeling better now, lovely that he could come and listen to the heartbeat though 🙂 x
Sounds like a lovely week! It’s been about a month since I linked up (stupid work keeping me away from my blog) - I can’t believe how grown up Busby looks (and how big Peppercorn’s getting!) 🙂
