As I’ve mentioned on the blog a few times, my skin has really suffered during this pregnancy. Even at 31 weeks, my skin hasn’t settled down, which has been rather frustrating for someone who doesn’t really wear make-up. The lovely folk at Green People heard about my blemish issues, and kindly sent through some gorgeous items from their Organic Blemish Control range (which is now available to buy from Waitrose) for me to try.
Foaming Face Wash (100ml) £10.95 RRP
A gorgeous product which smells divine! This wash is a daily-use, soap-free face wash with green tea, clary sage and bergamot which creates a purifying combination. The foam is very soft and gentle, and the mild formula has been ideal for my sensitive skin. My skin is looking visibly more radiant since I started using this wash.
Day Solution Moisturiser (50ml) £15.95 RRP
I’ve used this wonderful moisturiser previously and it continues to be a completely delicious and nourishing moisturiser. It’s absolutely perfect for day-use as it’s very light. The Day Solution Moisturiser is alcohol-free, and the pineapple extract used within the solution removes dead skin cells and unblocks pores; my skin feels amazing! It also smells yummy!
Zap & Clear Serum (10ml) £10.95 RRP
This is the skin care product that I’ve been waiting for my entire pregnancy! It’s amazing! The black willow bark used within the serum works against acne bacteria, increases cell turnover and has natural exfoliating properties. The serum’s blend of lavender, lemongrass, geranium and tea tree work magnificently to heal, cleanse and balance my skin. Unlike other spot treatments, the Zap & Clear Serum doesn’t smell overpowering at all – in fact, as with the other Green People products – it smells deliciously divine.
Gentle Cleanse & Make-up Remover (50ml) £11.95 RRP
I haven’t used this product a huge amount, as I don’t tend to wear much make-up, but this product has been wonderful at the end of the day to rid my skin of the day. Again, the remover is alcohol-free and leaves my skin feeling refreshed.
All of the above products can be purchased on the Green People website, and the Blemish Control range is now available to buy in Waitrose.
