The Week That Was: Captured #91

Hello! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a fun and fabulous week?

The rules for #TWTWC are simple; link up one post about your week (it doesn’t have to be the whole week – it can just be one day, or your weekend)! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!

Last week
I really enjoyed reading about Katy’s (Modern Mummy) week; it sounds like she had so much fun with her girls, and I loved the photos of van piano playing!
Lauren’s (Belle du Brighton) post had me itching with frustration with her, after her c-section was postponed last week! It sounds like she had a great week of snoozing despite this.
I was very envious of Clare’s (Emmy’s Mummy) night away last week! It sounded like she and her Husband had a fabulous, well-deserved break!!!

Our week
This week has been a lot quieter than the previous two.

Nick was feeling a bit better on Sunday so we all headed to IKEA to look for some furniture for our new house. We spent a good few hours trying out sofas, and Busby loved it.

1. IKEA lunch! (Sunday) // 2. Early evening baths = my favourite pregnancy indulgence (Sunday) // 3. Drawing in bed (Monday) // 4. Cravings (Monday)

We had an impromptu trip to York on Monday to do some shopping. Busby did well out of the trip… I didn’t find anything that I needed. I had a lovely little nap in the afternoon, which turned out to be rather fortuitous as Busby decided to be awake for two hours during the early hours of Tuesday morning. The gale force winds weren’t helping, but I think she’s feeling a bit unsettled and just wanted cuddles. I worked on Tuesday… and napped!

Busby and I spent a lovely day together on Wednesday and went into Wakefield for a Mummy/Daughter lunch date. We did a spot of shopping and, as usual, she came away with new things!

5. Drawing in Pizza Express – it was very bright! (Wednesday) // 6. Pretending to be rabbits (Wednesday) // 7. Munching (Wednesday) // 8. Mama Bun (Wednesday)

Busby went out for the day with Nick’s parents to visit Wentworth Castle on Thursday, so I took advantage of the time and worked.

Friday was Good Friday. I was feeling super exhausted most of the day, and ended up in Maternity Triage at 9pm as hadn’t felt the baby move and had tried everything! He was fine, which was a HUGE relief!

We travelled down to Sussex on Saturday to spend Easter with my family down there. We visited lovely Wimpole Hall on the way, which was very busy!!!

9. Panda Bump! (Thursday) // 10. My Mother’s Day present arrived (Friday) // 11. Getting in the bunny spirit (Saturday) // 12. Lunch stop (Saturday)

What have you been up to this week?

Huge apologies – my badge is still being pesky and I haven’t had a chance to sort it out yet – it is under construction for now, as the template keeps reformatting the quotation marks in the code from straight to curly (geeky snore) Please let me know on Twitter if you’d like me to email the badge through to you…!
