The Week That Was: Captured #93

Howdy! Welcome to The Week That Was: Captured! Have you had a fabulous week?

The rules for #TWTWC are simple; link up one post about your week (it doesn’t have to be the whole week – it can just be one day, or your weekend)! It can be photographed, Instagrammed, written, videoed… basically in any format you wish! This linky is about capturing memories and I treat it a bit like an online diary. Please only link up relevant posts. Also, if you fancy commenting on other people’s posts that would be super too – everyone loves a comment!

Last week
I loved Karen’s (The Mad House of Cats and Babies) post last week about her adventure to Paris with her daughter! It was such a wonderful read – and it looks like they had the best time!
I found Jenna’s (Tiny Foot Steps) post completely enthralling and fascinating last week. It was all about attending a “Dancing with Strangers” session – which is something that would utterly terrify me!
I really enjoyed Louise’s (23 Week Socks) post about what she’s been reading this week. I completely understood where she was coming from about, at times, not having the concentration to read due to the various thoughts and worries going around her head.

Our week
Nick, Busby and I went out for lunch on Sunday for burgers and milkshakes. Busby was in a bit of an odd mood, but we had a yummy lunch!

I had minimal sleep on Sunday night due to toothache, so ended up at the emergency dentist on Monday morning as one of my fillings had fallen out. The dentist was great – and dealt with my tooth issue very swiftly, so I didn’t suffer too much. I spent Monday afternoon asleep, as was feeling completely exhausted.

1. Come to Mama – I love these meat cravings! (Sunday) // 2. I turned 30 weeks pregnant! (Monday) // 3. Fulfilling another craving! (Tuesday) // 4. My new book (Tuesday)

I worked on Tuesday and managed to have a very productive day, despite Busby being awake for three hours in the night. Snore!

Wednesday morning began with an epic nap as Busby went for a playdate with Nick’s Mum. Busby and I visited Nostell Priory in the afternoon for a run around; we didn’t make it further than the play area, but she had a good two hours exploring, sliding and swinging! We had a rather swift Mummy-Daughter date in the café with a piece of cake.

5. Mummy-Daughter date (Wednesday) // 6. My Monkey (Wednesday) // 7. Enjoying the view (Wednesday) // 8. Waiting for the Midwife (Thursday)

I had a Midwife appointment on Thursday morning, and then spent the afternoon in the garden, making Busby a rocket out of a box and “gardening”.

On Friday morning we found out that we’d (almost certainly) get the keys for our new house next week! Eek!! Busby and I had a boogie around the garden in the sunshine, and then spent the afternoon being productive around the house.

9. Exploring to the moon! (Thursday) // 10. Watering (Thursday) // 11. My lovely Bump! (Friday) // 12. Enjoying the sunshine (Friday)

Busby was up early doors on Saturday morning (4am) following a bad dream, so after a few rounds of her “Paddington the Artist” book, the current favourite, we finally got her back to sleep… and she let us snooze until 8.30am! Hurrah! We then had breakfast in the garden, and headed into Wakefield to buy some bits and bobs for the new house. I had my haircut in the afternoon, while Nick and Busby went to the park. The day was topped off with a BBQ in the sunshine! The sun shining really does make all the difference.

13. Who needs shoes? “The grass feels so soft, Mummy!” (Friday) // 14. “I wear my summer hat, Mummy” (Saturday)

What have you been up to this week?
Hannah

Glad you got your tooth sorted quickly no worse pain in my world! Shame about the lack of sleep during the week but sounds like you still had a lovely week. I broke my phone recently so don’t think i’ll produce any weekly round up this week, and certainly not on time (again haha) but at least I have been doing them even if i do miss the linky lol xx

We never have shoes on in this family, always barefoot and grass between your toes is one of THE best feelings. Looks like you’ve had a lovely week. Xx

Glad you got the tooth sorted out, tooth pain is bad enough when not pregnant! Thanks so much for the mention too!
Meat and chocolate biscuits sound like perfect pregnancy food to me, I always reckon your body tells you what it needs!

The cake looks good, but that lemonade looks amazing! Busby has the cutest hats - and they really suit her too.
Have a great week and enjoy your new house when you get the keys!
