Review // Le Toy Van Doctor’s Set from Wicked Uncle

A few weeks ago we were approached by the lovely folk at Wicked Uncle, and asked to choose something from their shop to review. The Wicked Uncle store is a plethora of fantastic gifts for little people – they even gift wrap your chosen present for you for a small extra charge! In fact, I realised that it’s the ideal online shop to point friends and family members to who might not have children of their own, as you are certain to find something for every age group (and the website is handily split up into age groups too).

We chose the Le Toy Van Doctor’s Set for Busby, which retails at £37.95 on the Wicked Uncle website. Busby has recently become rather fascinated with stethoscopes following a stay at my Mum’s house – her best friend fell off the climbing frame and my Mum (she’s a Nurse Practitioner) checked her over to make sure she was ok. She’s also been pretty amazed by blood pressure machines due to my visits to the Midwife, so I knew she would love the Doctor’s set.
The Doctor’s set comes in a gorgeous red fabric bag with blue gingham lining. It has wooden handles and a magnetic clasp – it’s the perfect size for Busby to carry around. The set is made in the UK and is crammed full of wooden toy Doctor’s instruments. It includes; a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, thermometer, syringe, ear scope, scissors, reflex hammer and two medicine bottles. Best of all, the colours are gender neutral (although the box isn’t quite there…).
Busby absolutely adores the set, and has had so much fun pretending to treat Flopsy Bunny, as well as all of us adults… and her ball! It’s absolutely ideal for imagination play, and I can see this remaining a favourite toy for many months (and possibly years) to come.

I would definitely recommend this gorgeous Doctor’s Set, as well as the Wicked Uncle website for all of your child gifting needs!
