I am definitely missing being pregnant, and with the new wave of bloggers that have just announced their pregnancies, I am feeling the bump envy to the extreme… Although I’m certainly not ready for baby number three yet!
I absolutely loved dressing my bump when I was pregnant with Indy; I was so much more comfortable and confident with my pregnancy body this time round and really enjoyed creating a maternity wardrobe that I hope I will be able to wear again (in 3-5 years time).
Buying a whole new wardrobe to only span 9-18 months of your life seems like such an extravagant purchase, and this is why Bibee dresses and tops are such a fantastic idea.
The concept behind them is that you have a base dress or top, which you can then change the look of with various ‘bibs’. These bibs fasten on via buttons and come in a range of different styles and colours.
The Bibee maternity collection is ideal for creating a capsule wardrobe, and come in a whole range of different styles. I was sent a cowl front dress in grey, and a cap sleeve tunic (also in grey) – as well as two bibs to attach to these. The bibs can be used in conjunction with both the tunic and the dress.
Dresses start from £50 and bibs £20. Both can also be used for discreet nursing after pregnancy too.
The Bibee Maternity collection can be found online at House of Fraser.
