Gosh, what a month it’s been!
This month has seen the arrival of two teeth. In the same 48 hour period.
I take back everything I ever said about Busby teething badly. Her whole teething experience was nothing compared H-Bear’s distress and discomfort. The smallest bear didn’t sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time… and to add to the fun of the lack of sleep, woke up inconsolably screaming in pain each time. He had the hottest, rawest, rosiest cheeks I’ve ever seen in a teething baby. Poor Munchkin! I wish I could transfer the pain onto myself and grow the teeth for him.
H-Bear is on the move, and has started crawling! Once he’d mastered the technique there was no stopping him, although he’s struggling a bit with our floorboards downstairs. He’s really quite speedy on rugs and the carpet though! I haven’t manage to capture it on camera yet, but there will be endless photos in the coming weeks I’m sure!
He’s still not sleeping particularly well (gross understatement), and Nick and I find ourselves going over everything he’s eaten in the day to see whether anything could be bothering him. It’s quite frustrating, and I’m glad we’re seeing the Dietician again in a couple of weeks. I’ve worked out that strawberries and rice seem to be triggers, as well as the cow’s milk protein and soya… It’s really just a guessing game though!
H-Bear is a complete delight during the day however, and he’s always full of laughter and smiles! His favourite things this month have included playing with Busby’s Duplo, pulling her hair, and eating copious amounts of food!
He has loved baked salmon, chicken, spagbol, and just about anything he can get his hands onto this month… Our little foodie! It’s such a shame he can’t eat anything with milk or soya in, as I know he would gobble it all up!
Our smallest bear has not been the biggest fan of the bath this month, and I’ve ended up getting in with both children every night for the past week! This (thankfully) seems to calm him, and Busby is a little perplexed as to what I’m doing in there, although she’s enjoying it too! It’s turned into really lovely family time – with lots of singing and merriment!
H-Bear is still very mummy-centric, and loves nothing more than being in my arms – usually trying to give me snotty, soggy kisses! I’m savouring every one of them because he won’t be this small, or this loving, forever.

ps. As you can see, I’ve officially changed his blog alias! I think H-Bear suits him much better than Indy.
Aw, such a cutie. Teething can be such a tough time, but he looks very smiley too though. Hope you manage to work out the food thing.

Teeth are horrible, Little E just got four all at the same time. Bath time sounds interesting lol. Sorry to hear you are having rough nights, I hope it gets better for you soon. Love all the photos #SSAmazingAchievements
H-bear is a fab alias for him, he looks such a little character in the photos.
Hope you get some answers around the food issues soon and get some sleep!

H-Bear sounds perfect for him. Hope you get some answers soon and - more importantly - sleep! x
