H-Bear // 10 months

Wow! 10 months!?! How did we get here so quickly?

This past month has been pretty amazing.

The big news is that H-Bear slept through the night for the first time (8pm-7am)! He hasn’t repeated it since, but at least we now know he can…

He’s also learnt how to wave and dance, which is very cute to watch. He had a good bottom jiggle during Busby’s gymnastics class last week, and had a lot of mums cooing over him as a result.

H-Bear is a big hit with the ladies already, with flocks of little girls fighting over him during the break in gymnastics to stroke his hair, cuddle him, and give him toys. He loves the attention, but only really has eyes for Busby, who has taken a real shine to him this month. It’s so lovely to see their sibling bond grow and develop; especially as it now means I can leave them to play for five minutes while I empty the dishwasher or make a cup of tea!

H-Bear is still very Mummy-centric, and loves to kiss me! He’s also said “Mummy” for the first time this month, and likes to paw at my knees saying it while I try to get dinner ready.

His cruising has improved again this month and his legs are so strong. I’m not sure he’ll be walking before his first birthday, but it can’t be too far off.

Sadly, our most recent dietitian appointment was very disappointing… Due to a bad reaction to accidental exposure to cow’s milk, he won’t be able to start the milk ladder before his first birthday. This was a blow as I was hoping we might be able to begin soon, but thankfully he’s putting on weight properly now and is definitely thriving.

We’re off to Italy next week, which will be his first time on a plane, and I’m looking forward to watching his excitement during the whole adventure!

Only two more months until my baby is one…!

Happy 10 months H-Bear! I know how you feel - I read once that sometimes the days seem so long but the years are so short. In the blink of an eye it felt like I was back at work with my first baby (now 18 months). I’m expecting no. 2 any day now and I love what you did every week to capture every stage of your baby’s life these past 10 months. You’ve inspired me to make sure I don’t fall into baby no. 2 mistake of not capturing as many photos as I did for my first. Enjoy your upcoming holiday too - sounds fantastic! Xx

10 months already! It has come around so quickly. Sorry to hear about his reaction to the milk, fingers crossed that you will be able to introduce the milk at some point even if it is later than you would have liked. I hope you all have amazing adventures in Italy.

How cute! Got to love it when they do the random one off sleeping through thing! It’s always so funny when they first start dancing. #SSAmazingAchievements
