Review // Puppets by Post

We’ve gone a bit puppet crazy in our household – both children find them hilarious – so when a collection of Puppets by Post puppets arrived on our doorstep, we were all very excited!

Puppets by Post have an amazing selection of puppets to choose from, and we’ve been very lucky to try out three different types:

Big Puppets

We chose this funky monkey because I knew both children would want to cuddle and play with him. I wasn’t wrong. Funky Monkey has been all over the country with us, but the children especially love to play with him at bed time. He has also been a godsend during the plague that has descended upon on our house over half term…!

Busby adores him because he’s purple. H-Bear adores him because he’s almost the same size as him.

I adore him because he’s so cuddly and soft – and the velcro on his hands means that he gives awesome hugs!

He has great mouth movement, which has everyone giggling – especially when he steals H-Bear’s dummy.

Funky Monkey costs £27.50 and would make a great addition to your family.

CarPet Puppets

These puppets are designed for the glove box and are absolutely perfect for the car. They have been great on our long car journeys down to Sussex and back to Yorkshire!

I opted for the tiger as both children love The Tiger Who Came to Tea. He’s very cute and very soft!

Although the Tiger is designed for child size hands, I’ve got in on the action too.

He is also a particular favourite of H-Bear’s, who loves it when I pretend to say hello and wave as the tiger.

The Tiger CarPet puppet costs £9.99.

Story Packs (Finger Puppets with accompanying story)

I love this idea so much! I chose Dear Zoo for the children as it’s one of the only books we really love but don’t own.

The pack includes Elephant, Giraffe, Lion, Camel, Snake, Monkey, Frog & Puppy finger puppets to accompany the book.

It’s been so much fun acting out the story with the puppets, and the children have enjoyed taking part too. It’s such a wonderful, interactive activity to do with the kids.

The Dear Zoo story pack costs £30.50, and would make the most wonderful Christmas or first birthday present! There are so many other stories to choose from – including The Gruffalo, Monkey Puzzle and Farmer Duck.

All of the above puppets can be found on the Puppets by Post website. They have brought so much joy to our household, and would be ideal gifts for Christmas – especially the story packs.
