Review // Get the Label

It’s rare that I get offered something to review for myself on the blog, so when the lovely folk at Get the Label contacted me and asked whether I’d like to choose something for Nick and myself I was a tad excited.

Have you heard of Get the Label before? I hadn’t, so I was pleasantly surprised by their website which is full to the brim with designer clothes at discounted prices. They stock everyone from Converse to Toms, and I had lots of fun perusing their website.

I fell in love with these amazing shoes from Kickers in the Women’s Footwear section. I couldn’t resist!

They are made from the most gorgeous tan leather and are possibly one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I’ve ever owned. I’ve even worn them on the 3 mile school run roundtrip.

The shoes are a T-Bar style and are absolutely ideal for autumn/winter. They look great with trousers, skirts and dresses, so are super versatile.

My favourite thing about them is the sole, which has a little cushioned insert to support your foot arch. I think this is what makes them extra comfortable

The heel height is about 3 inches, which is perfect for me as I don’t like to be taller than Nick!

The Kickers Kopey T Weave shoes cost £31.85 (down from £74.99), which is a complete bargain. They also come in a gorgeous duck egg blue shade and white! (I’m more than a little tempted by the blue…)

Nick was in desperate need of a new pair of trainers, so I chose this pair of winter-inspired Adidas Originals from the Men’s Footwear section.

They’re incredibly comfortable, with an elasticated Primeknit upper for an enhanced fit.

The shoe pattern makes me think of winter knits (apparently the pattern is inspired by traditional Japanese Sashiko stitching). They’re just a bit different from your standard trainer and have a festive feel about them.

The Adidas Originals Mens Court Vantage Primeknit Trainers cost £49.99 (down from £88.99) and, as with the Kickers, are available to buy from the Get the Label website.
