What H-Bear Wore // Lamb & Bear Leggings

A big Happy Birthday to British childrenswear brand Lamb & Bear, who have just celebrated their first birthday!

Lamb & Bear is the brainchild of designer and fellow blogger, Alex. After having her first child, she decided that she’d use her experience and skills in design to create an exciting, funky range of leggings for children – and has recently begun expanding the range to dribble bibs.

The prints are designed by Alex – using photos she’s taken on days out with her children, which are then edited to make them look super cool, and give them the unique look that is now associated with Lamb & Bear.

We were sent two pairs of leggings for H-Bear: Quack Quack print in thunder and Penguin Pals in wine red.

The leggings are gorgeous and have become firm favourites in his wardrobe!

They are 100% cotton, and very easy to move and play in; absolutely perfect for little monkeys who love to climb and run.

The thunder shade is a beautiful off-grey, which is very versatile and will go with most things. I love picking up the ochre shades on the duck bills and coordinating them with similar colours.

The wine red shade is gorgeous – and perfect for Christmas! I usually go a bit penguin-mad when H has these leggings on and team them with his Smafolk penguin top. I’m not sure you can ever have too many penguins?!

I must admit, when I first saw these leggings I thought they wouldn’t wash well and that the print would fade – but I was pleasantly surprised! As I said above, H-Bear has worn them A LOT, and I have to wash them after each wear because he gets so filthy, but the print hasn’t faded at all. They are such fantastic quality!

In terms of sizing, I’d definitely recommend sizing up. H-Bear is wearing size 18-24 months. He turns 18 months next week and is between 12-18 and 18-24 months in clothes. We’ve had these leggings for a few weeks now (and at least one growth spurt) and I’m not sure he has much wear left in the length, so I sort of wish I’d sized up to 2-3!

The leggings cost £16 per pair, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Plus they’re designed by an awesome creative Mama!

I’ve been so impressed with Lamb & Bear leggings, and would definitely recommend you visit the Lamb & Bear website if you’re looking for unique, quality leggings for your little people.
