Lovely Things // Rainy Afternoon Snacks with Miffy

The summer holidays have been a bit of a washout so far *sob*, but we’re not ones to give up on an adventure just because it’s raining…! Busby, H-Bear and I decided to have an indoor babyccino picnic on Monday afternoon; complete with biscuits and our new Miffy mugs.

And it was so much fun!

There’s nothing more joyous or novel than an indoor picnic for two small children. The picnic blanket on the floor, the eating of food somewhere other than the table or breakfast bar! It’s always a guaranteed hit in our household.

I even made special Miffy cookies earlier in the day for us to enjoy:

Both children were sent an enamel mug from Miffy’s extensive range. The mugs cost £10 each, and come in a variety of designs.

H-Bear was sent the cake-themed Miffy mug (I thought it was perfect for him), which has a little line of cakes all around the outside of the mug.

Busby was sent the art-themed Miffy mug, which again, was the ideal mug for her!

They make the best mugs for babyccinos; whether they be chocolate or coconut milk.

The designs are adorable (obviously! It’s Miffy!), and although they don’t go in the dishwasher, they’re easy to clean.

They would be absolutely ideal if you’re going camping this summer, or even for outside picnics when the weather cheers up!

Thank you for helping us have a wonderful indoor picnic to kickstart our summer holiday of fun, Miffy! If you’d like to buy your own Miffy mug, you can find them in the Miffy shop. The dairy and soya free biscuit recipe is here (and they are rather yummy!).
