What the Children Wore // Mini Medley

We first featured Mini Medley back in June this year. Handmade in Sussex by mum of three, Leigha, Mini Medley’s clothes are all so vibrant and super comfortable for playing in. The quality is always outstanding and the children love wearing Leigha’s playful designs.

Last month Leigha launched a range of clothes in her own exclusive Mini Medley fabrics, and the children were lucky enough to be sent a couple of items from the beautiful new range.

H-Bear was sent these amazing dungarees in Mini Medley’s ‘Wild Weather’ print, which is definitely my favourite print from Leigha’s new collection. Isn’t it absolutely gorgeous?

The print itself is compromised of woodland animals hanging onto rainbow umbrellas. The light grey-blue background is stunning and completely unisex. It’s so on trend and beautifully illustrated; it makes me smile every time he wears it!

H-Bear has the dungas rolled up for these shots as he was paddling in the stream (you can read the whole of our Lake District adventure here), but they are full length, making them ideal for the impending autumn and winter.

The dungarees wash incredibly well (thank goodness – look at that muddy bum!), and the elastane and cotton mix fabric means that they are ideal for all kinds of play.

I love how many different coloured t-shirts can be teamed with the dungarees thanks to the rainbow umbrellas. Ingenious!

H-Bear wears age 2-3 years in these dungarees, which fit well with some room to grow. The harem style means that there’s quite a lot of room in the bottom department – so fantastic if you use cloth nappies, or (in H-Bear’s case) if you sit in the stream!

Busby was sent another fun outfit from Mini Medley, which again features two more of Leigha’s amazing own-designed, exclusive prints.

The top is made from Mini Medley’s ‘Swallows and Rainbows’ print, with contrasting rainbow shorts.

The fabric is super soft and flexible (95% cotton and 5% lycra), once again making it ideal for all sorts of play!

Although the top and bottom come together as a set on the Mini Medley website, Busby loves to wear the top separately with a pair of jeans on cooler days.

The ‘Swallows and Rainbows’ design is utterly stunning, with rainbows, suns, clouds and swallows on a beautiful indigo background. I love the contrasting yellow trims and rainbow print shoulders.

Busby wears age 5-6 years in these photos, which fit well with some room to grow – especially in the shorts, which harem in style.

H-Bear’s Wild Weather dungarees are £25, and Busby’s Swallows and Rainbows outfit costs £25. All of the above clothes can be found on the Mini Medley website.
