I woke up on Monday 28th March feeling extremely excited; I’d had the most wonderful dream that I was pregnant. I had two strong, positive pregnancy tests in the dream and then oddly my granny appeared, put her hand on my tummy and said “It’s a boy”.
I went to the bathroom, found my stockpile of pregnancy tests, and did one immediately. There was a very faint, positive line, but I half-dismissed it as an evaporation line and decided to take a test the next day.
I continued to take tests that week, and each time the test line grew bolder and bolder.
Pregnant! I was pregnant again! And after only one session of fertility hypnotherapy. I couldn’t believe it.
We had our early reassurance scan last Thursday, and we’re over the moon to tell you all that our little rainbow bun is baking away wonderfully!
I turned 8 weeks pregnant today, and he or she has an estimated due date of 2nd December 2018 at the moment (although this may change with our NHS dating scan in a few weeks time). So we may have a November baby or another December baby!
I can’t wait to share this journey with you all and, as with Busby and H-Bear‘s pregnancies, I’ll be sharing it all on here with my ‘Baking a Bun’ series (which I plan to post every Monday – although there are a few weeks to catch up with to start!) and of course, over on Instagram too.
I’ve been feeling relatively ok so far. I’m really exhausted a lot of the time (you may have noticed all of my naps on Instagram Stories) and finding the motivation to do anything is proving difficult. My nausea hasn’t been as overwhelming as it was with our lost baby and with H-Bear, although the tide might be turning on that one as I’ve been feeling pretty pants today! I’m also off tea, which makes me very sad and I find myself feeling a bit lost every morning without it!
It’s been quite the journey to get here, but we’re so excited to be growing our final family member – and I’m feeling so relieved after the scan last week that there was a lovely strong heartbeat. What a glorious early Christmas present he or she will be.
I’m so fricking delighted for you!!!
