What the Children Wore // nununu SS18

I’m so very excited to bring you another collaboration with super cool childrenswear brand nununu this week!

We last featured nununu in October 2017, and had such fun photographing these gorgeous clothes. This year I’m showcasing a selection of items from their awesome spring/summer 18 range.

nununu make exciting and cool childrenswear that’s very different from the high street. All of the garments are wonderfully designed and excellent quality.

This shoot was captured Hull, near the city centre. We’ve driven past this wall A LOT recently and every time we go past I say to Nick “I want to shoot a What the Children Wore post next to that wall!”, so a couple of weeks ago (on a rather chilly Sunday) I did!

Busby was sent the most gorgeous powder pink balloon dress; I LOVE it! I used to have a silver dress very similar to this when I was at university, and I still regret getting rid of it.

The dress is made from 100% cotton and is perfect for the warmer days ahead, but also looks fantastic teamed with a pair of tights.

Busby wears age 6-7 years in this dress, so I’d definitely recommend sizing up if you’ve got a taller 5-6 year old.

H-Bear was sent a pair of skull mask leggings and the black circle patch light knit sweater.

Initially I wasn’t too sure about the leggings, as they looked quite full on when I unwrapped them, but I adore them on! With the recent success of ‘Coco’ in the cinema, they’re very on-trend.

The leggings are 100% cotton and very comfy for running and jumping in.

I really love H-Bear’s sweater. It’s made from a very light knit (100% cotton knit), so it’s perfect for this changeable weather we’re having.

The colours of grey and black are very versatile – going with everything in his wardrobe.

H-Bear wears age 2-3 years in both items, which fit perfectly.

Busby’s powder pink balloon dress costs £55. H-Bear’s skull leggings cost £34 and his circle knit sweater is £58. All of the above items, plus the entire SS18 range can be found on the nununu website now.
