Primark is awash with unicorn goodies at the moment! So for Busby, who absolutely adores unicorns and has grown out of most of her wardrobe without me noticing thanks to school, it’s been the perfect place to pick up some clothes for the summer holidays… and beyond.
We were kindly sent a gift card to spend in Primark for an Instagram campaign we’ve just collaborated on, but I took so many photos in front of this incredible wall in Hull that I wanted to share some on here too!
Also, it’s been a while since I’ve written a What the Children Wore post, so I thought it was time to get back on with the kids style side of the blog now that I have Busby around a bit more over summer.
This sequinned unicorn jumper (£8) was the first thing I saw when I was choosing her an outfit and I think it’s pretty perfect. Made from cotton, it’s lightweight enough to wear now on cooler evenings and will look super cute with a Peter Pan collar underneath when autumn and winter are here.
Her unicorn horn is also from Primark, and comes in a pack with glitter gel and hair crayons (£4.50). I know I shouldn’t mention Christmas yet, but it would make a great stocking filler!
Busby always looks so grown up in jeans and jeggings, and these black jeggings are no exception. Plus they were only £4! Great for changing into after school, or for weekend adventures.
Next up are the shoes (£10). And what a pair of shoes they are! These are Busby’s new favourite and she asks to wear them every day… and I don’t blame her in the slightest. Sequinned hightops with pompoms? I want a pair for myself, but sadly they only go up to a size 5.
Finally, I found this silver unicorn bag, which has a sparkly horn (£10). It’s ideal for our unicorn-obsessed girl and she adores it. I accessorised with a white pompom bag charm (£2) – which also has a unicorn on it… You can’t get away from them!
While I was in Primark, I also found her some unicorn leggings, some incredible shimmery mermaid leggings and some unicorn pants. So Busby’s wardrobe is now fairly unicorn-tastic and I’m hoping I don’t have to do anymore shopping (other than for uniform) before she starts Year 1 next month!
All of the pictured items are available to buy from Primark’s in-store AW18 range now.
Primark have some brilliant stuff for kids don’t they?? I’ve got Charlotte some lovely jumpsuits for the summer and even a pair of shoes. I get most of Arthur’s nursery clothes too!
