Babies in bonnets – is there anything cuter? I’ve completely fallen in love with bonnets this time round; there’s something so classic and beautiful about them. Tabby was very kindly sent two bonnets and the most incredible bubble romper from Dainty Designs by Elliepie. I’m under no obligation to share these photos on the blog, but I loved them so much that I couldn’t resist creating a ‘What Tabby Wore’ post.
Ellie uses vintage fabric to create the embroidered bonnets, which means that no two bonnets are the same. The fabric used for the embroidered bonnet Tabby is wearing reminded me of the hyacinths my granny grows in her dining room every year – I couldn’t resist. There are so many more gorgeous embroidered fabrics to choose from in her shop (link below).
The bonnets are so beautifully crafted and give every outfit a gorgeous, vintage feel. I love how they accentuate Tabby’s heart-shaped face.
Tabby was also sent an amazing woodland bubble romper and coordinating bonnet.
This is one of my favourite outfits to dress her in at the moment. It’s so autumnal and pretty without being overly ‘girly’.
I love the cross-tie at the back of the romper – it means you don’t have to struggle with small buttons whilst your baby tries to crawl and wriggle away to freedom, and adds an extra something special to the romper.
The bonnet coordinates beautifully with the outfit (and most of her wardrobe!).
